  • HOW LONG DOES A TAKE OUT ORDER TYPICALLY TAKE?

    Every Lampo pizza is hand-tossed and made-to-order. Our customers understand that we are a small, locally owned pizza shop with one priority: quality. Orders are prioritized upon the order in which they are received. A typical lunch or afternoon take out order will take 5 - 15 minutes. This can increase depending on demand. Dinner take-out orders average 20 - 45 minutes, again, based on demand. For the most accurate pickup time estimate, please visit our online ordering page.

  • SHOULD I ORDER MY PIZZA TO BE SERVED TRADITIONALLY, UNSLICED, OR HAVE IT SLICED?

    If you are eating on the run or don’t have the proper utensils for slicing, we are happy to slice it for you. If you are heading to a place where you have the proper utensils, we recommend getting it unsliced as it will travel better. Also, keep in mind there’s always the “pizza a portafoglio” or the pizza wallet. Fold it in half, then in half again, and then start enjoying from the crust edge so the mozzarella and sauce don’t hit the ground! The Naples equivalent to a street slice.

  • DO I HAVE TO PLACE THE ORDER ONLINE?

    Not at all. You can order in person, via phone, or online. We prefer for customers to place orders online versus phone as it will give you the most accurate pickup time. However, if you are unable to place the order online, we are happy to take orders over the phone at 434-244-3226. Due to issues with past customers, and in order to protect our business, all take-out orders must be placed with a credit card payment whether placed online or via phone.

  • I DO NOT SEE AN OPTION TO PICKUP AT A LATER TIME. IS IT POSSIBLE TO SCHEDULE AN ORDER FOR A LATER PICKUP?

    In general, we are unable to schedule orders for a specific pickup time. All orders are prepared on a first come first serve basis.

  • CAN I SCHEDULE A LARGER ORDER FOR A SPECIFIC PICKUP TIME?

    If you are placing an order of 8 or more pizzas and/or sandwiches, you can schedule the order. Orders may be placed up to a week in advance and until 3:00 PM on the desired pickup day. The online ordering system is not able to schedule orders, so please give us a call at 434-244-3226 or visit us in person to schedule an order.

  • DO YOU DELIVER?

    We offer delivery for larger orders and placed at least 12 hours in advance. You can place your order over the phone or via email: at lampo@lampopizza.com.

  • WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO REHEAT MY PIZZA?

    Please, please, please DO NOT microwave! For best results, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Dampen the crust with a pastry brush. Bake on the center rack for 4 minutes. Enjoy!

  • DOES YOUR PIZZA DOUGH OR BREAD CONTAIN EGG OR DAIRY?

    No. It only contains four ingredients: flour, yeast, water, and sea salt.

  • WHAT SIZE ARE THE PIZZAS?

    All pizzas are hand-tossed and approximately 12” in diameter. Traditionally, Neapolitan style pizzas are personal pizzas.

  • ARE THE ANTIPASTI AND SALADS RECOMMENDED FOR ONE OR SHARING?

    This is subject to interpretation as we would never imply that anyone needs to share our homemade meatballs! However, in general, we feel that they are a shareable portion.

  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MARGHERITA PIZZA AND MARGHERITA DOC PIZZA?

    The Margherita DOC pizza is made with water buffalo mozzarella which is imported from Italy. The Margherita pizza is made with cow’s milk mozzarella that is made in house.

  • CAN I CREATE MY OWN CUSTOM PIZZA?

    We are happy to eliminate ingredients when possible, however, we do not make custom pizzas.

  • I DO NOT EAT MEAT AND/OR DAIRY. IS THAT SOMETHING YOU CAN ACCOMMODATE?

    Yes. We have several menu items of which we can easily eliminate the meat and/or dairy. Please feel free to give us a call at 434-244-3226 and we are happy to discuss options with you.

  • DO YOU HAVE GLUTEN-FREE DOUGH OR BREAD?

    Many of our dishes are made without gluten-containing ingredients; however, we do not have gluten-free dough or bread. Our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment, so it is possible these menu items could come into contact with gluten during preparation.

  • I AM ALLERGIC TO XYZ?

    We are typically able to accommodate dietary allergies with the exception of gluten. Although many of our dishes are made without gluten-containing ingredients, our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment. It is possible these menu items could come into contact with gluten during preparation. We do ask that you always let us know ASAP of any allergies so that we can provide the best and safest dining experience for you.
